Arsenal Target In London, House Hunting In Advance?

Diego’s contract with his current club VfL Wolfsburg is about to expire next summer and then the dynamic attacking midfielder would then be up for grabs on the transfer market.
The 28-year-old, who hit his best form alongside Mesut Ozil with Werder Bremen, still receives a lot of credit.
Martin Winterkorn, chairman of automotive company Volkswagen and ergo of VfL Wolfsburg too said:
“I’m not one who likes the good players to go. And Diego is a good player. The team is clearly stronger with him.”
It is obvious Wolfsburg will like to retain the service of the player. However, with his contract getting to the last 6 months, there have been rumours that he could be moving away from the German club. Arsenal, Southampton and his former club Santos have alll be rumoured to be interested in acquiring the services of the Brazilian.
“I know there is interest from Premier League clubs. I have heard Arsenal is one of them. It would be the ideal destination for me because their style suits my characteristics perfectly. Of course I would say yes to Arsenal.”
“Southampton have great organisation and discipline and big talents like Adam Lallana. But again there is nothing concrete.”
“Playing in England is a very attractive option at the peak of my career but I’m focusing on helping Wolfsburg get to the Champions League.”
About the alleged interest of his former Brazilian club Santos FC Diego said according to Brazilian median Globoesporte: “I always have my love for Santos confessed publicly. Santos is my first option.”
Although on the surface, we do not need another attacking midfielder but if you consider the fact that Rosicky is in the last 6 months of his contract and Cazorla is already getting to the wrong side of Wenger’s policy, one will start to believe, we may need him. If not now, maybe in the summer when his contract would have expired and he would be free to join us on a free transfer. I won’t mind letting go Rosicky ( let’s face it, he is very good but his records with injuries and his age would see him released in the summer ) on a free transfer and getting in Diego on a free transfer as well.
It is even more interested as the player has released pictures of himself and his little son in London. Could it be a coincidence that he is visiting London at a time he is also been linked to Arsenal? Below are the pictures he posted on instagram of himself and his son in London.

  1. Letting go of Rosicky?
    NEVER.
Banish the thought immediately. His drive, pace and commitment are the stuff of an Arsenal legend and an excellent example to the youngsters at the club
